For transport planners, freight forwarders and hauliers who book loads by email.
Before you send the transport order, check that the sender really is who they say they are.
Vericarga is a Chrome extension for Gmail. On every email it checks the sender against your freight exchange, spots lookalike domains, checks their VAT number and warns you if your team has already flagged them for a no-show or late payment. If something doesn’t add up, it tells you what to do before you send anything.

Would you have spotted it at 9 a.m., with 40 unread emails?
Today, cargo theft starts with an email.
They email you from a domain with one letter changed, copy a freight-exchange profile and attach real documents stolen from another company. With a truck waiting to leave, nobody runs five checks by hand on every email.

Vericarga runs the usual checks for you on every email. No more copying the domain or looking up the VAT number in another tab: just keep your freight exchange open in Chrome, as you already do.
You open the email, as always.
Vericarga reads the sender and the text inside your browser. You don’t have to do anything.
It runs all five checks.
- Did they view your offer?
- On the exchanges that show it, and how long before they emailed you.
- Registered on the exchange?
- Which company the address belongs to, how long it has been registered and, on the exchanges that publish it, whether they pay on time.
- Are they imitating someone?
- Domains with one letter changed or registered days ago, without spoofing protection (DMARC), or using another company’s exchange ID.
- Is their VAT number real?
- In VIES, the European Commission’s register.
- What does your team know?
- Your orders and quotes with that company, and what colleagues have flagged: no-show, late payment, unpaid invoice.
It tells you what to do.

When everything matches, it doesn’t interrupt you.
It doesn’t open pop-ups, send notifications or put numbers on the icon. In the inbox you see a coloured dot next to each sender and, inside the email, one discreet line when it matches. The full warning only appears when something’s off.
Green doesn’t mean “100% safe”. For high-value loads, always call the number on their exchange profile.

What your team knows, even in the newest colleague’s inbox.
When a colleague flags a company for a no-show, a late payment or a request to change bank details, the whole team sees it the next time that company emails. Vericarga also goes through up to six months of your email and records the orders and quotes with each company. Someone who joined yesterday sees the same as someone who’s been there ten years.

Your emails never leave your computer.
Vericarga runs its analysis inside your browser. Only what the team needs to share reaches your team’s server.
- No passwords. It uses the session you already have open on your exchange, read-only.
- Servers in Frankfurt (European Union) and a GDPR data processing agreement with every company.
- No lock-in. If you stop, we send you a copy of your history and ratings, so you lose nothing.
Stays in your browser
- The body and subject of your emails
- Exchange data, for a few minutes and only in memory
Reaches your team’s server (EU)
- Your colleagues’ ratings
- History: company, date, route and amount
- The result of each check
What people ask before trying it.
We already check the exchange profile. What does this add?
The profile tells you the company exists, not whether the person emailing you works there. Phantom carriers pose as real companies and use their exchange ID. On every email, Vericarga checks whether that address is registered on the exchange, whether they viewed your offer (on the exchanges that show it) and whether their domain imitates another company’s.
We use Outlook. Does it work for us?
Right now it only works in Gmail and Google Workspace, in Chrome. The more companies ask for Outlook, the sooner it will come: choose Outlook in the form and we’ll let you know as soon as it’s ready.
Do you read our emails?
No. Nobody at Vericarga reads your emails: the analysis runs in your browser, and the body and subject never leave your computer. Your team’s server only receives the ratings, the history (company, date, route and amount) and the result of each check.
Does my freight exchange allow this?
Using your own session, Vericarga only looks up what your account can already see. It doesn’t extract exchange data or store it on any server.
What about false alarms?
An owner-driver with a Gmail address who viewed your offer and matches their exchange profile shows green. Amber means “check”, not “fraud”. Every warning shows why it appears and has a button to tell us whether it was right.
If it shows green and it’s still fraud, who’s responsible?
The decision to send the transport order is still yours. Vericarga warns you when something doesn’t add up, but a stolen account can pass every check. So for high-value loads, always call the number on their exchange profile.
Which freight exchanges does it work with?
Several of the most widely used freight exchanges in Spain and Romania, but not all of them. Ask us about yours at [email protected] and we’ll confirm whether it’s supported before installing anything.
Our IT doesn’t allow extensions.
We’ll send your IT team a technical note listing every permission the extension asks for and what each one is for, so they can approve it. It doesn’t ask you to sign in with Google or for any passwords, and it never sends, deletes or moves emails. It installs from the Chrome Web Store, like any other extension.
How much does it cost?
It depends on how many people use it. The first 30 days are free, no card, and the first companies get founder pricing. We’ll tell you before the trial ends, and we won’t charge you anything unless you expressly agree to it.
Built by a traffic manager.
Vericarga is built by a working traffic manager, first for their own team. The checks are the ones they run every day before sending a loading address, now done automatically on every email.
